What Does This mean?

In Sonar X3 studio I get this message when trying to use SI Electric Piano:
An external plug in insert was found in SI Electric piano Primary output Stereo Please disable Fast bounce...
Anybody know what this means?  I was told Sonar was a more stable DAW than what I was using before (Samplitude Music Studio 2013).

I'm beginning to wonder about that.

Maybe you have the external plugin on the audio track for the SI piano?

An external insert goes to hardware. Therefore you cannot do a fast bounce because the processing is not done inside the computer. Audio has to stream through the external insert in real time and return back in.

You will have the same issue with external firewire-connected DSP boxes like SSL Duende. The signal has to travel outside the computer.

Sonar X3e is actually quite stable, maybe one of the most stable releases they have ever put out.  :)

What has that got to do with stability if your routing/settings are wrong?
Did you check the Primary output for external insert? Did you try disabling Fast Bounce?
Did you go to Help files to see what those terms mean?

Craig nailed it. You cannot fast-bounce through external inserts. It doesn't have anything to do with "stability" - the message is a good thing, as it's preventing you from doing something bad that would have resulted in unusable garbage in your bounced track.
