PSP Echo

Has any one tried this plugin? I'm looking for a good basic stereo delay or echo for vocals.

It's on sale at JRR shop for $49: http://www.jrrshop.com/psp-echo-download-license

I don't think it requires iLok, does it?

Do you have Sonar? The Sonitus stereo delay does a great job.

That's what I currently use, that and the Rob Papen plugin, which is complex.

It does not use iLok, simple keyfile added to the registry.
    Demo here http://pspaudioware.net/register/demo.php
    Video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fhADKiKndUE
The demo is time limited but otherwise identical to the full version and can be unlocked to the full version after purchasing.

PSP usually makes good stuff. I've used the Lexicon PSP42 and the Vintage Warmer and like them both. This Echo looks pretty cool. I like the Ducker feature, that could save some automation work right there. If I was after a good delay plug for guitar I wouldn't hesitate.

Thanks Skook, good idea to demo:)

I hope I can get a little more time this weekend to do that! It's a real "Bungle in the Jungle" here with the lawns growing after 7" rain in June...

I have all the PSP delays, and I use them all. I also have the Rob Papen Delay mentioned above, and it is really cool too. For $49 I think you'll get a lot of use out of it!

I've also heard good things about the Vintage Warmer.

For guitar, I've mostly used my PodFarm echoes which I like, but I'm really looking for something nice for female vocals: sweet, useful and not extreme.

    Thanks for the input!

FYI, PSP offers a progressive discount depending on how much you already own and are buying.

Yes I've been using PSP Echo for year now on all my guitar tracks. Sounds very warm. Very flexible delay. Highly recommend it!

    Peace!

So I bought the PSP 85 when I posted earlier and just had a chance to play with it.

    OMG

I finally have Amplitube all set up in a project with EZD2 at no perceptible latency, so I've been playing around with all of the delays I have. I am a delay nut, and love to create weird patterns and textures often with multiple delays. The PSP 85 was MADE FOR ME. This thing is WAY COOL. Looks to have quite a learning curve, but if you are looking for a very powerful, great sounding delay this is one to consider!
