I wasn't a fan of the vocals? Or more appropriately, the production of the vocals? But I'm a singer, so there you go? I really enjoyed the overall production? Good job!! Welcome back :-)

No lie, I don't know exactly what the yoyo factory is. but i like it at lot for sure, really nice punchy, lively vibe to it, like heavy punk rock. I think the vocal sits just a little too far back, but beyond that this is awesome :)

    James,

Very catchy, I really like it.  As others have mentioned, I would bump the vocals up a little bit but otherwise no problems.    There is a lot going on in this song, I hear some Clash, Bowie, et. al. influences.   The vocals are really good and nice to see you back.   I am always amazed by your productions and so many different styles of music done well.

hey me brudda.....long time! Hope you're well! As usually this had me grinning from ear to ear.....the kit work was killer...love the way you panned some of the rolls...as far as vox because I know what your capable of vox-wise and mixing wise I know everything is just where you want it and so it works well for me.

Again nice to see you and if you get a second hunt back for DT's latest...its been awhile for us as well but it was a fun tune to be sure and would love your feedback as always...

Superb, as always. That intro is just killer, and the track is packed with cool details and more than one memorable hook. Don't leave it so long next time James.

Nice to see a new tune from you.

Sounds good to me, but perhaps the vox could come up a db or two.

Phil, James, Allen, Herb & Noisy:

Thanks for the listen. I have been getting into a lot of classic 70s rock where the vocal is not so upfront as they are today. Hence, my choice to move my vox back a hair more than I normally put them.

Hope everyone is having a great summer so far.

    Hi, James,

Great to see you around, buddy!

Very cool rocker with great songwriting, excellent performances and a high-energy, edgy vibe!

Great vocals and a catchy hook, and the drums were tight and punchy working really well with the guitars to drive the song along nicely.

    Great stuff, as always, James!

I like this, James.  You really work in many different modes.  Voice level works for me.  It just seems that it works with the music.  Nice hearin' ya.   Oh, yeah, the vocal quality is really good on this one.  You did a really nice job on it.

haven't heard a Yoyo production in a while.  this one doesn't disappoint!

I'd personally prefer less processing on the vocals, but I'm sure you're doing that on purpose for this genre.

    great mix and production!
