Can anyone identify the artist for this painting?

I've got a couple of pieces of art that I will need to sell, but the following piece I can't seem to figure out the name of the painter.  I've entered several guesses but haven't had a hit.  The first image is the whole piece, but the second is a close-up of the signature.  I'll take any and all guesses!  Thanks!

(Sorry for the tilt, the painting's in a hallway so I can't get the camera far enough away for a proper shot.)

What IS this signature???

There's a Giovanni Martino listed on AskArt.com, but you have to register to see signature examples.

You can see a "Giovanni Martino" 's signature here:
http://www.hlchalfant.com/products/manayunk-scene-giovanni-martino

There are some similarities but many differences too - including the use of "Giovanni" instead of "G.". And the style is very different - though artists can go through many phases, I guess.

FWIW, I've also seen another G. Martino's painting, similar in style to "Giovanni Martino" but signed G. Martino in printing instead of cursive.

Go figure. Whoever that painter is, he must have very little regard for his legacy. :P

If it's Rolf Harris, you're screwed.

Me, I'd contact those folks on the web site I linked above. The signature is the same, the style also is, as well the subject - maybe they have more information on the artist.

Thanks all!  For some reason I kept seeing the T (in Martino) as the capital letter of a last name.
