X3c to X3e - Anything special to be aware of?

I'm about to patch X3 from X3c to X3e.  Can I apply the patch directly or do I need to install X3d first?  Any gotchas?  Thanks.

Yes, it is OK to skip X3d. No gotchas that I know of.

X3e is quite stable, and lots and lots of folks have reported being quite happy with it.

And, +1 on skipping the X3d update, all of them are now cumulative, so you can just go right to the X3e update.
