Is there any way to turn off certain controllers in the controllers pain so you don't have

Is there any way to turn off certain controllers in the controllers pain so you don't have to turn them off every time you change channels in the piano roll view??  If you're using a lot of controllers, you end up with bunches of controllers to turn off if you're editing just one every time you change channels.

thanks
dan

I don't know of any way to do this, but I think it would be desirable.

The first 3 books in "The Musician's Guide to Home Recording" series are available from Hal Leonard and http://www.reverb.com. Listen to my music on http://www.YouTube.com/thecraiganderton, and visit http://www.craiganderton.com. Thanks!

No, you don't get it.  I'm talking about editing in the piano roll view, which I do a lot of, especially when I'm editing pedal steel tracks.  The lower left of piano roll view you select the controllers you want to edit in the controller panel.  Every time I switch tracks it shows all the controllers I'm editing in the box in the lower left corner of the piano roll view.  I have to go there and close a bunch of controllers I'm not editing.  I wish to keep only such controllers I'm editing at the time.  Every time I switch tracks it shows all the controllers instead of just the ones I need.  That's quite a few when you consider I'm editing 4 tracks at once when editing pedal steel emulation including, volume, pitch wheel, etc. but it includes velocity, expression, and on and on. So once I close the panes, (believe me, it is pains), when I go to another track of the 4 in the pedal steel emulation, it show ALL of the controllers and I have to close all the unnecessary panes on the bottom left of piano view.  I hope I stated it correctly this time.

Thanks

I think I understood you correctly, but I still don't know of any way to do what you want. I realize an answer of "I don't know how to do this" isn't very helpful, but I noticed the thread was about to fall off the main page, so I essentially bumped it hoping someone might have an answer before it disappeared.

While not a solution, a workaround you can try is to open a separate Piano Roll view for each track. Open the Piano Roll for the first track. Then right-click it's tab in the MultiDock and choose Lock Contents. Do this for each track. Now you can edit each track in its own Piano Roll window and the Controller pane will not change.

In X2a I've noticed that the Controller Pane does not always behave properly. Sometimes there are controllers that don't belong and sometime the ones that should be there are not.

I can click the "+" button several times before the right ones show up. Meantime, the more I click the "+" button, the more Volume Panes show up when there should only be one.

Sometimes when closing the Volume Pane the volume tails will show up in the Pitch Bend pane, and so on.
