From what I've heard there have been several recording studio sackings over the years of people who could not control their laughter.

They only need one good one...  I suggest an underwater shark tank.

Absolutely.  I never liked those.  (You'd still be able to hear her.)

Not with sharke in there with her...    she'd be to busy glaring at him to sing make any noise.

I don't think Yoko expects, wants or needs commercial success. I think she knows her music will be ridiculed by most listeners. I don't think she craves the publicity. Then why is she doing it?

IMO she's making a statement:

Sing your song, write your book, paint your picture, be creative and don't conform to what's popular at the moment; and don't give a rat's ass what the critics say.

Well true..but then again Yoko is in the position of it not mattering financially whether anyone likes what she does or not. That's a very comfortable standpoint from which to be non-conformist.

Do you think anyone would now know she existed, let alone be 'performing' at Glastonbury, if she hadn't been married to Lennon?

Probably not, but wth  her track record of bad reviews and lack of what most people perceive as talent it  takes a fair amount of courage to perform live.

I feel for the people in the audience but I like her spunk. (not the Brit meaning of spunk)

I don't feel sorry for anyone in the audience.  They KNOW what they're getting, why feel sorry for them?  They PAID to be there and know what she's going to sound like!
if that's what turns them on, OK.  but I certainly don't pity them!

Actually they don't know what they're getting, the tickets sell out long before the lineup is announced. It was only a few weeks before the start that Metalica were announced... At which point all the people that couldn't get tickets started saying how bad it would be..

It's Glastonbury. There are tons of stages to watch, and activities. Most of the people here have been diagnosed to be clinically insane as they volunteered to turn up when they could have done something else. Dolly Parton I think was on the other stage miming...
