Anyone using ARC with multiple monitors in X3?
I'm in the process of adding an additional set of monitors and was curious how others manage the monitor switching when using ARC. Have not tried this yet but I was thinking that I could create a buss for each set of monitors. Instantiate ARC with the correct measurements for that monitor set. Route ARC1 buss to the FF800 outputs 1/2 and the ARC2 buss to FF800 outputs 3/4. Then to switch monitors all I would need to do is change the output routing on the Master buss to ARC1 buss or ARC2 buss. Does it make any sense or is there an easier/alternative way? I don't currently own an external monitor switcher.

Isn't ARC going to make both sets of monitors sound exactly the same?

This is exactly how I have things set up ... works great! I also do a headphone bus with no ARC. Cheers, Eddie

I get the sarcasm, but in my case it sort of does. I use ARC2 with Dynaudio BM5As and ADAM A3Xs and I mean, the soundstage, freq extension and "tightness" is different, but the basic tonality becomes more or less interchangable. So lately I've started using the plug mostly with the small monitors and running the big(ger) ones clean for more of a real world roomy perspective.

the anomalies that arc tries to correct, are in the room.. not the monitors.

Well, as I understand it, the app has no way of discriminating between freq response "anomalies" caused by the room and the ones originating in the monitors themselves, so as long as the goal is complete flatness, ARC will try to compensate for both!

But would have to run arc again for the second pair of monitors because there freq. Response is different
