The lesson seems to be do not try this if your guitar strap is held to the guitar with a cut in the leather over the strap pin.

If I was that harmonica player I probably would have punched that guitar player in the kisser!

We can only hope their guitars were very expensive and very damaged.
 
It's all a bit like Darwin for guitars.

Yeah... even with strap locks I wouldn't try that.
 
And I have the "good" strap locks.
 
I value my guitars way too much for that kind of stuff.
