Does anyone remember the initial release date?

Hi Folks,

Marti Masters here.  I'm currently writing a report for the University of Turku, Finland.  Does anyone know when Cakewalk Pro Audio was first released with audio capability added to the MIDI sequencer?  I'm floating the date 2000 in my head, but could someone please let me know for sure?
Thanks in advance for your kind reply!

Wow! You must have picked the loneliest room in the building to make your 1st post. Apparently no one is using Pro Audio anymore.

No idea when it 1st appeared, though it had to be in the '90s. You might try posting in the Sonar forums as users there would know.

I still use Pro Audio 9 for heavy editing.  It's been a while.  I run it on Windows ME but I think the original install was Windows 98.

Those who do often, do well.
