What does upgrading the free bundle get you?

    Nevermind, find it:

    • You can change size and style of the plugins.
    • You can access sonogram feature in analyzers and equalizers.
    • You can manipulate your own presets.
    • Most plugins can perform upsampling which minimizes aliasing, therefore it is useful to improve sound quality.
    • The plugins will not contain the nasty big box in the bottom with our clickable logo.
    • You will make us happy and let us develop more free software ;-).

The free effects upgrade is worth it just for the spectrum analyzer alone. After years and years of automatically reaching for SPAN, lately I've been using MAnalyzer instead because of its normalization feature.

There is so much usable stuff in the free bundle, it'd be worth $32 anyway.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

The free bundle started me down the path to the total bundle. Even the free bundle gets new plug-ins every now and then. Most recently MComb.

I have already purchased analyzer, so I'm on the fence with upgrading the free. Seems like it's the same set of effects plugs they sell singularly, but they just aren't multi-band?

In all honesty, James, since you already have the fancy version of the analyzer, I can think of better ways to spend the $32. MTransient is on sale for $25. MModernCompressor would be $33 if it goes on sale again. MDynamicEQ is my favorite in the product line, and it'll hopefully go on sale again for $46.

Thanks Bit - I appreciate the guidance. I also have the chorus and tremolo plugs from them, so waiting sounds best.

As with most, I'm waiting for Spectral Dynamics to come into rotation... :)

Will the Vocoder do a talk box effect?

The demos didn't really delve into that territory very much.
