Sometimes stupid little things give me such pleasure

Had this switch surround made for my LP:

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

Well, you know how Gibson insists on calling their switch positions "Treble" and "Rhythm"? That always left me kind of Confused and like Dazed or sumptin.

So I had one made with different wording.

A pickup selector surround?  Oh...  I thought this thread was about some of the members here.  My bad.

(As for the surround, if I had my Les Paul still I'd HAVE to get one!  )

I got it on ebay here:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/131200168342

I put off getting it for a long time because it's kind of pricey for a stupid little piece of plastic, but in the grand scheme of things...

They also have some where you can pictures printed:

I think if Beagle ever gets a Les Paul, he should get one where the positions are labeled "Becan" and "Becan".

Or "Becan" and "More Becan" - lol.

I had to send your image to a friend who plays a lot of Jimmy Page style - I bet he'll want one.

But now you can never be dazed and confused... only dazed or confused.
Is that a good thing?
