[Solved] Sonar X2 cannot record MIDI output from Drumagog 5?

This is driving me crazy.

I already installed LoopBe (the free version), insert Drumagog into my kick track, go to Settings and enable MIDI output, selected LoopBe in the dropdown box and set the channel to 1. Created a MIDI track, intput set as LoopBe channel 1, arm... but NOTHING is coming through.

The weird thing is, if I set Drumagog's MIDI output to "Microsoft GM wave table" (the built-in MIDI synthesizer Windows uses to play MIDI music), I hear the MIDI as piano notes! It's not coming through Sonar though; it's coming from the OS... but at least I know the MIDI output function /works/! But I can NOT for the life of me get Sonar to capture that MIDI coming out of Drumagog.

This is very frustrating, why can't it be as easy as how this guy does it in Cubase --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0AKmygcir0 ? I shouldn't even NEED LoopBe in the first place... :/

Any ideas? I really need  to get this working. Audiosnap "Copy to MIDI" is just not accurate enough (it occasionally places markers too early or too late and I just CANNOT zoom in and fine-tune every marker... this is a large scale album project, I don't have time for that!)

In X2, plug-ins which generate MIDI output must be configured as a synth. Open the plug-in properties and make sure "Configure as synth" is checked. Also open the LoopBe1 Internal MIDI Port in the notification area and make sure it is not muted.

scook, perfect! Everything is working now. Man, that mute checkbox in the LoopBe1 notification area is super obscure, who woulda guessed!?

The recorded MIDI starts waaaay early, but all I had to do (after recording) is use Tab to Transient to place the "Now" ruler at the first transient on the real drum track, then set the entire MIDI clip's starting point to that exact time... bam! Sample-accurate drum enhancement for the whole song. :D

Unlike Audiosnap "convert to MIDI", I didn't have to move a single out-of-phase hit in the MIDI. Every single hit is sample-perfect, I double-checked (by listening).

Thanks again for your help!
