Waves V-QE3

Is anyone using the Waves V-QE3 that's on sale thru Sunday? The price is attractive but is it worth getting?

No good for surgical work of course, but this is one sweet EQ if you're boosting, especially in the highs. I find I can make much larger boosts with this EQ before it starts sounding "weird." It's very musical. Especially nice for giving more air and clarity to vocals and percussion. I've never used the Neve it's modeled on, but I've heard some people say it's a pretty good emulation.

I'd first check out Waves Scheps, IK's Neve models or wait for Slate's VMR to be released.
    ( August??)
    Don't care fo this model- it's O.K.
    I really like IK's Neve 81 myself.

I've  been looking towards IK's 71 or 83 but $33.00 at JRR is hard to pass up. Thanx for the feedback guys. Might come down to a coin flip sometime this evening.
