Well no matter what the release date for Komplete 10 is, one thing is for sure - I won't be upgrading until the inevitable sale. If it's even worth doing at all. Can't even imagine what extra stuff they have to put in it this time.

Kontakt 6? Reaktor 6? Other than that about the only new thing I would be intrested in is the Rickenbacker bass, and I have already got that.

That's not the way it works with NI. The last version is always on super-sale right before the release of the next one with no grace period. You can save a lot of money by not needing to have the latest and greatest!

If it comes out in September, they probably won't do a 1/2 price upgrade sale until next summer. If Ultimate to Ultimate will be $399, I will wait for the sale.

This is good to know - I saw a new NI library thingy last week and was for a few seconds tempted - I'll now wait - pretty sensible anyway as I've only just got round to installing the last of Komplete 9 which I purchased quite a few months ago in that really cheap sale!!
