Tried from both a Hotmail and a Gmail address. Didn't get the email on either of them. Checked junk mail as well. :(

I finished off a song yesterday that just wasnt gel'ing, after doing this tutorial. I started again from scratch and concentrated on the basics just using the basic prochannel tools and suddenly it all worked, minus a whole pile of plugins! Maybe ive slipped recently in trying to rush things to make things happen . Dont know. But lesson learnt. Ive wasted weeks on this one song.

Craig! Your a master. Thanks so much for your time. Once again, you are a gentlemen sir!!!!

Hmmm? After filling out the form I never received the email with the project zip files. It wasn't in my SPAM folder either.

Well, I've now tried 4 times with 4 different email services and got nothing though I'm sure I'll likely get spam from Discmakers on all 4 email accounts from signing up. :\

I just did it, and got the email. It arrived from noreply@cakewalk.com. Try searching on that in your email folders and see what pops up.

I know at least two people have been able to download the files and go through the tutorial. Can I get a roll call of:

Those who tried and succeeded to get the files
Those who tried and didn't get the files

Make sure the master out is set to the correct output in your audio interface, and that the tracks are feeding the master.

To get the audio, you need to fill out the form to download the trial version of SONAR X3. You then get an email link with separate download links for:
  • SONAR X3 trial
  • CA-2A trial (needed for the section on using compression)
  • The audio for the project
If all you need is the audio, then you can simply download the audio. It's about 140MB.

@karyn -- yes, i know about that. i'd already got the audio before i posted. there was nothing else in the d/l except the audio and the 2 project files. what i'm expecting is some sort of tutorial... you know, something written, with tips and ideas and things.

@SiTheMon - where did you get the tips you wrote about ?

thanks
