Free DrumMic's qualifies for Kontakt or Komplete crossgrade?

This could be a super deal for anyone wanting to buy the full version of Kontakt. People on the NI forum are saying that DrumMica qualifies you for a cross-grade.
http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/threads/drummica-crossgrade-issue.223863/

And, DrumMic'a is free. All you have to do is work your way through the German only website, download, install and authorise it and you are good to go!

Assuming this works it makes DrumMic's the freebee of the decade.

I went to check what the current Kontakt crossgrade prices is, but you can only see this if you have a qualifying product in your account.

I know there is a deal on Komplete at the moment but I was still suprised to see Komplete 9 is going for the same price as Kontakt 5! Who is going to pay $399 for Kontakt if you gan get it and all the other stuff in Komplete for the same price?

It looks like there are crossgrades if you are buying Komplete but I am not sure if the DrumMic'a would qualify?????

Price for the Kontakt cross-grade seems to be "secret" unless you own a qualifying product (i an sure larry can dig it out though!0. If one had known about this a while back it would have been a good way to get Kontakt for $150

Looks like the Komplete Crossgrade is from Maschine, Reaktor, Kontakt and GR5 Kontrol.

    The crossgrade price is $249.00

I HIGHLY recommend picking one up on KVR...ususally about $150...but,
but the time you paid $150 for Kontakt and $199 for the crossgrade to Komplete,
you might as well just Pay the $399.00 and be done with it.

Right now Guitar Center has 15% off eGift Cards.  Buy a $400 eGift card for $340,
    send it to yourself, buy Komplete 9 @ $399 with it...and there ya go...Komplete 9 for $340

Go to Guitarcenter.com ...this POS won't let me post the link..

    Cheers!

Undoubtedly Komplete is by far the best deal by a long shot, but for someone that does not need the extra applications and content or cannot afford the extra $100 a cross grade from a free product is a good deal.

    Totally agree!

There's a lot of goodie goodness in Komplete...just in Kontakt content alone...so
    take that into consideration...

It is true Dub...and, IMO, even without being cross-gradable...it was
a very robust freebie...but that just, as you said, makes in one of the
    best ever!

Here's how to get another 8% off...for a total of 23% off Komplete

Guitar Center has a 15% discount off gift cards. There's also a FatWallet 4% discount for purchases at Guitar Center. This 4% discount can be used twice, once for the gift card, and once for the item you want to buy with the gift card.

Step 1: Visit FatWallet, then go to Guitar Center. Search for Gift Card, then buy one for the value of the product you want.
Step 2: Wait a few hours (took me 4 hours), then when the Guitar Center gift card shows up in your email, write down the Card# and PIN.
Step 3: Visit FatWallet again, go to Guitar Center, buy the product you want, and pay with the Gift Card (if there's a balance, then pay the remainder with a credit card).
