so what are we talking about here with this Akismet filter ? everything I have read so far on the web page is pretty ambiguous 
what I would like to know is why can't I post a comment on the X forum ? I'm getting locked out very time I try to post over there .
does  Akismet sit there and read every word and decide who gets to post and who does not get to post ?
