the XT-Equalizer is $39.20 if you buy Mixbus ...but if you take it Mixbus out
of the cart, the other plugins come up with $25 discounts...

It definitely has one of the most pleasant saturation sounds I've heard.
And Mixbus 3 is not far off in the horizon, which is supposed to offer
64 bit and VSTi / MIDI support...

The EQ's on the mixer in Mixbus are quite nice also...

It's actually quite easy to migrate audio into mixbus for mixing. I do it all the time, and don't even think about it anymore.

I agree.  Especially with prochannel plugs and the prochannel eq.  Would I be better off just improving my listening/mixing skills, or is this something that really can help...this *professional hobbyist* ??

I am convinced it made a test mix I did $39 better. When it's 64 bit I plan on making it my go to mixing environment from pre mixed SONAR stems.

Mixbus has a unique sonic signature.  Mixes seem "more alive" and wider right away.  The EQ's are very
nice.  It's not an enigma, it's the program.  It's detriment has been that it has remained 32 bit and has no MIDI or VSTi support.  It's also not a very aesthetically pleasing program.  But it does SOUND good.  Do some "A - B" comparisons and you definitely WILL hear the difference.  Is it for for everything? No, not really.  Is it worth $39?  Most definitely!

There are plugins that cost 10 times that that don't sound as good and don't do what this
program does.

But, that's just my opinion.

it's to bad people don't really understand how hip Mixbus  really is ...
I love the fact that I can start a project in SONAR , export the individual tracks ,
open up Mixbus create a new project import the individual exported tracks  into Mixbus  , save , put the folder on a thumb drive and  then bring / have  my Mixbus project on 3 separate machines ( PC and Mac )
My  projects have always translated 100 % on all 3 separate operating systems
now picture this, a little food for thought
it sure is nice being able to work with anybody anyplace anytime and not have to get caught up with
what version of ….. are you using ? what OS …..and all that other Jazz
where I come from it's called freedom . that is one of the things Mixbus does bring to the table
