Piano Roll Zoom - Alt+Scroll Does Not Perform As In Track View

Hi

I did a few searches using various terms but could not find this specific issue addressed. I apologise in advance if it has already been discussed and solved elsewhere and I did not find it.

I wonder if maybe I have missed a setting or two somewhere. I frequently use the alt+scroll feature to zoom in and out when working in track view (I have an optical ball mouse so it's quite useful) and it works great. However the piano roll view does not seem to exhibit the same behaviour. When I try to zoom out it will zoom a LONG way out with just a couple of 'ticks' with the scroller, and likewise zooming in is equally as aggressive, where I'll frequently find myself in way too close. It's like a 'scroll gradient' discrepancy, if you will! I also cannot get the zoom to lock onto the position of the 'now' time marker in the piano roll view as it does in the TV, perhaps there is a setting somewhere to remedy this?

Thanks in advance

Alt+Scroll seems to work the same in both views here. There's an option to change mouse wheel zoom settings in Options > Mouse Wheel Zoom Options, but it probably won't solve your issue.

As for the Now time marker failing to be locked in the center in the PRV, it's probably a bug but I never noticed it so I think I like the way it is. What I DON'T like about mouse wheel zooming in the PRV is that both Alt+Scroll (vertical zooming) and Ctrl+Alt+Scroll (horizontal zooming) don't work at all in the Drum Grid pane.

    Tak T.
