couple questions about the forums...

Hi guys.  As a X3 producer user, is the best place to post questions in the 'Producer and Studio' section or the 'X series' section?

Thanks, paulo.  The other question is:
Why are there only 7 pages in this section?

(I wanted to reference a thread i started about six weeks ago, probably on about page 15 at this point.)

At the bottom of the thread list you will see a link that says Show All Post - 30 Days. Click that and you can set the time range that will be shown.

However it is far easier to simply Google your thread with the terms:

cakewalk forum + your user name + some words you know you used in the thread title or comments

It should pop up at or near the top of the google search.

There are several ways to format terms for searching Google for forum posts.

I tend to use the following approach:

site:cakewalk.com forum now time disappear x3

The 'site:cakewalk.com forum' is my constant, and any other terms follow, and Google will only look for results for pages connected to cakewalk.com - the forum term could also be included, making it 'site:forum.cakewalk.com' but I always forget, so I just add forum to the terms and it still works the way I intend it.

Google is a great way to search old forum posts.

    Hope that works for you.

Another good way is to simply look at the top of the page where it has [Cakewalk] [Forums] [Posts] [PMs] and click posts, then go to my posts, then to view more, if what you are looking for is not there.
