Good HHD Docking Station for Transfer of Old Data to New HD

Hi Everyone;
Does anyone know of a good HHD docking station to transfer SATA hard drive data to my new computer hard  drives?

Also would like to use this a a way to back up data/audio files to "older" unused SATA drives (since I seem to have a number of these that are currently unused) for archival purposes.

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Regards,
Del

I was looking for the same thing and decided I liked this option better for now... If you find something that stands out for you, please post. As you know, there are a lot of offerings out there.

My favourite is the Thermaltake Blacx line. They have a number of different ones, so you get the one that works best for your setup. Personally, I have the one that is eSATA and USB2. When I'm using it with my desktop or laptop, I use eSATA because they both have that, and it is extremely fast and low latency. When I use it with a computer that doesn't have that, there's USB.

They also make one that is USB3, which would be faster for computers without eSATA, and one that can take two drives at once.

Hey everyone I found this device on Amazon

http://www.amazon.com/Cable-Matters-SuperSpeed-Docking-Station/dp/B0099TX7O4/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

It seems to have everything that I would need including Win8 acceptance. The reviews of it seem to indicate that its a good one, ??

I've got a couple of them I got from CompUSA (in person). ) Like, I drove there, went in and bought them.
I don't think it is any kind of dramatic technology. Just a couple of plugs in a container. (sata to USB)
I'm pretty sure mine were not much more than $10 ea.

ASUS P8P67, i7-2600K, CORSAIR 16GB, HIS 5450, 3 Samsung SSD 850, Win7 64, RME AIO.
