Pulling a shameless plug

There's a new original tune by The Forum Monkeys.  There are no simian references in this one.  I hope that doesn't disappoint you too much.  The title is "The Last Time I Died".

    Respectable plug I'd say.

Good job on the mix, whoever did it. Very clean and tasteful, not what you'd expect from monkeys at all. Love that mid-rangy compressed vox.

I'd have used finger-snaps instead of handclap samples, though. And I kept waiting to hear that sine tone they always use in the movies when the monitor flat-lines. Maybe a second of that in the beginning as an intro, followed by a fast tape-start effect when the music starts.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Clear!  [zapp]

I think Daryl did the mixing.  Maybe Bapu will confirm that.  Thanks a lot for your comments, Bit.

I think the mix is outstanding as well.  However it was done - bravo!
