the dangers of buying used...

my "baby," my new XK-3c has to go back!

I bought it used from Music123 for about 2/3 the price of a new one.  excellent price!

but it doesn't work correctly.  when playing, the volume will randomly change up and down without touching the volume knob and no pedals connected to it.

it doesn't happen all the time, but maybe 2-3 times in a couple of hours practice time?  It makes it useless for playing live - I can't have it changing volume during a set.

At least you're able to return it for a refund........this would've been a disaster if you got it from a local private sale and only found out about the volume thing later on.

Get a new one and we'll hold on to that bag until then.

yeah, I bought it thru ebay, actually, but it was Music123 was the seller and they offered me a refund and I think they're picking up return shipping as well, which I didn't expect.

    but don't touch my bag.

    - I can't have it changing volume during a set.

Unless I was singing, then it wood be a necessary evil.

but it would prolly change at the wrong time and then we'd be doubly in trubl.
