    The drums sound fine, lots of punch to them. Musically it doesn't really go anywhere, This might be me but I get really bored of the 2 chord synth pattern that goes on throughout this, it kinda grates on my brain and become the main focal point cuz I waiting for it to do something else.
     Not my kinda thing but I listened and gave an outside view.

    Great job adapting those lines to fit the song!
     
    But I do agree with Gus that the music could use more than the those two chords... even though there is some variation those changes don't seem to stand out enough.
