HELP!

I have newer versions of Sonar but for live I use Studio 8.5 with an Audio Kontrol 1.  I need to get the click track into a discreet feed for head phones and have not been able to figure it out.  Any help is appreciated.  Thanks,  Tom Bowman

Do you have separate outputs? If so, make a metronome buss and send to that output. You will also have to go into edit/project and make sure your metronome is set to go out the metronome buss you created.

Sorry but I don't follow that at all.  Not enough experience.  In Pro Audio 9 I would use midi channel 16 to send the click to a separate midi device

You could still do that if you wish. Use a soft synth as the MIDI device. No need to worry about the channel, use a separate MIDI or instrument track for the synth.

The Audio Kontrol 1 has two pair of outputs and the headphone output on the interface is switchable between them.

Route all of your audio except the click track through a master bus in SONAR and send the SONAR master bus to the Audio Kontrol 1 outputs 1/2 for main output and send the click track directly to output 3/4. Switch the headphones to monitor 3/4. Alternately if you need to the other audio with the click track in the headphones, create an additional headphone bus. Set the output of the headphone bus to 3/4 of the Audio Kontrol 1. Set the output of the click track to the headphone bus and add a sends from the audio tracks to the headphone bus.

Thank you.  I'll give that a try.
