Ya Gotta Love avast!

I kept getting a repetitive pop-up the other day:
 
Only 150 days remaining in your subscription - Renew Now!!
 
Seems there's lot's of complaints now on this once solid piece of software.

    I used to have it, gave up on it (when it missed a nasty root kit), and have now used Eset for the last three years without any issues.
