encoding mp3 file, but cant find the help i need!

Hi everyone, I am very new to this forum but i am so happy i found it.
I work with sonar X1 Le , and after figuring some stuff out on my own i now have my first project to have peace with!
What i want now is to encode it to an mp3 file, but ive been looking for hours now for some usefull help online about how to do it an what encoder to use, but i havent found anything so far.

Searching this forum for a topic about how to encode a sonar X1 file i found nothing, wich i find hard to believe, but i really didnt.
So i am really sorry (and also really sure) about this being the topic 1000 about how to do this, but i could definitely use some usefull lines of help.
I find this program quite dificult to understand actualy , and the help i find online isnt very usefull if you dont know what you are doing.

Thank you so much!

A 30 trial version of the integrated mp3 encoder is provided with most versions of SONAR. It would not surprise me if the LE versions do not include an mp3 trial version. If the LE versions of SONAR provide the trial, it would be an option in the file type drop down in the Export dialog. Another method would be to export a wave file and use an external encoder. There are several free mp3 encoders available on the internet.
