Scroll function hijacked by Tool box pop up....

I have Sonar x3 on my Lenovo T410 and until yesterday it worked fine with using the middle scroll knob to scroll around in the track menu, up, down, left and right. Very handy and it´s really in the musclememory. But then without any warning is suddenly a Toolbox (or maybe it is named Tool hub, the same as also pops up when you hit the "t" key on the keyboard) poping up wherever I just touch the middle scroll knob on my T410.
Vere, very annoying!!!!

The only thing I done was to adjust some settings on the computer according to this instructions:
http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/pc-optimization-guide-for-windows-7/
Do someone have any tips how I can change it back so my scrolling is working and so that the annoying Tool hub not poping up all the time I hit the scroll knob?
Thank you!
Tyko

    The HUD is bound to both T and wheel click (on a regular mouse). I do not know of a way to disable the mouse shortcut.

    Thanks for your answear!
    But as long as I had the Sonar x3, about a half year now, it has never popped up before and I could use the scrollwheel to do what it is meant for - to scroll around.
    It seems to me increadible stupid when the Tool Hub popping up when you would like to scroll...why? If you like the Tool Hud to pop ut it is as easy to press the T button. Personally I do need to scroll around much more than I need to change tool and when I want to change tools there is good and much faster short cuts to use for it. But to scroll around to look at different parts of a recording (end, middle, start or up and down...) there is no other fast alternative. To go to the sidebar and draw that thing up and down is very slow in comparasion and you have to move the mouse far to reach it.
    I really hope there is a way to go back to as I had it before....just don´t know what I have done that might have changed it.

    It would appear that the pointing device is sending a wheel click event. It may not be a software issue, maybe the pointing device is starting to fail.

    The information that the device is sending might as you say somehow be wrong and that might be the reason for the problem. On a Lenovo/ibm the red cap button in combination with the scrollbuttom should react as a scrolling wheel. So if I just click on the middle button without moving the red cap button it´s not a scroll. But as said, before it worked flawlessly without that very stupid tool box showing up.
    Maybe someone have an idea how to kill the connection that the toolbox have with the scrolling? Right now the biggest problem actually is that the tool box coming up everytime I happen to click on the scroll button. I don´t want that stuff to come up at all....

    AutoHotkey is one way do throw the middle mouse button away while running SONAR. Here is an AutoHotkey script which will not pass the middle mouse button to SONAR Producer.

    #if WinActive("ahk_exe SONARPDR.exe")
    MButton::
    #if
