Have I permanently lost the ability to have an avatar and post an Image? Does anyone know why?

At work they're using IE9 which (I'm guessing) allowed me to change my avatar + post images etc....you can try that and see if it works??

I can't upload an avatar, but I have no problem in posting an image using a link from Photobucket.

I can't upload an avatar, but I have no problem in posting an image using a link from Photobucket.
The interesting thing is, images from photobucket are blocked (red x) at work........however, I can go to almost any google image and view/use them.

Thanks Mesh! I'll give it a try. I used Firefox and Chrome but neither worked. I can post a picture from Photobucket but posting from my PC was much easier.
James - You have the same problem as I do if I remember right.

If' I'm not mistaken it looks like you linked a photo from photobucket , rather than uploading photo to this site.

Honestly I don't see what all the fuss is about. Your avatar seems to be right where it should be, which means it's managing quite well, if you ask me, which you didn't, but if you did I would say what I just said in approximately the same number of words and letters I just said it in, not that any of that matters as I'm really just driveling on about nothing really while I hone my typing skills, which, by the way, need all the honing they can get as I don't really type all that much unless I'm tying a post here or on a, perhaps, more relevant forum, wherever that might be.
