Did I ever have PSP's Vintage Warmer for free or did I dream that?

I swear when I look at a screenshot of that plugin I remember playing with it as a freebie....90% sure I used to have it on my machine. Since then I've upgraded to a new DAW and for the life of me I cannot find any trace of it. I know I didn't spend $150 on it, that's for sure...did they give VintageWarmer 1 away for free at some point? Kind of sucks that I can't find it anywhere so I'd quite like to retrace my steps....

Think you may have dreamt it. Occasionally they have one of their hardcore ones like VW at $50 for 24 hours. VW comes with VW2 and is pretty much identical. Of course, their protection scheme is prettylax and it wouldn't surprise me if it was freely available from some dodgy place.

Well it definitely wasn't from a dodgy source....I could swear that I used to have it though. Weird.

I use this one - but I paid for it two years ago through a special offered via Cakewalk that made the price attractive at that time. This tool has some really nice tonality especially nice on some guitar pieces I have.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I'm a customer, I also like their lexicon delay. Those boys at PSP make good stuff IMO.

Hi Sharke - you know i think there may have been a free or very cheap version offerd at some stage - i've had the full version for many years and upgraded that from time to time, but deep in the dark recesses of my brain (or what pases for a Brain!) i seem to remember / feel i got my original version for free or very very cheaply - however as someone else said if it was from PSP it should still be in your account - cheers Nigel

Hmm I must have been dreaming then because I just scoured my audio email account for anything PSP related and there is nothing....can't imagine they would have let me have it free without registering.

I used to have it. It was either included in an earlier version of Sonar or free. I had forgotten about it, I will see if I can find anything later.

Yes, I received it as a special promotion with, I think, Sonar 3.

Hmm...maybe I'm getting it mixed up with the Vintage Channel, which came with X1? They both have VU meters and large chunky knobs

Although the more I look at Vintage Warmer, the more familiar it seems...
