Finally upgrading to X3 - slowest download ever

Everytime I upgrade it takes forever to download. I'm on DSL cable internet is unreliable here so I'd rather have internet that works that's a little slower vs cable that's faster that hardly ever works. I wish I could still get physical discs. Not everyone has a super fast connection. Can't wait to try it. I've had every version of Sonar since 5 and each one gets better

you don't have to leave but you can't stay here

If you cannot get it downloaded by the end of the weekend, give Cakewalk folks a call on Tuesday - I would imagine that you might be able to switch up to getting a boxed set.  The boxed sets have some sort of additional cost, but I am not sure what that might be.  (guessing $20?)

There are some freeware download managers that are out there.  I do not use them, so cannot advise on what might give you the ability to resume a download following interruption, but perhaps another forum member can give you some advise.
