Schaack Audio Transient Shaper BETA

Schaack Audio Technologies has releasedTransient Shaper beta V2.50.
Changes:
  • Resizable user interface.
  • VST3 support.
  • x64 Support for all OS's & formats including VST on OS X.
  • Backwards-compatible to V2.04.

    That's at least four new transient shaper plugins released so far this year. Just that I know of.
     
    It doesn't seem that long ago that this was an obscure category that most users didn't even know they needed. Now every vendor's got one, and there's very little to distinguish one from another. They're all more or less clones of the SPL Transient Designer with minor variations in the detector.
     
    Even prices are remarkably similar. $70.90 for this one. TransReckon is $77, MTransient is $78 (but has been half-off multiple times). All three beat Waves Trans-X and Native Instruments' Transient Master, though, at a hundred bucks. The smaller the company, the better the price.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
