Has anyone tried to use the Mdrummer program.

How is the interface as far as coming up with grooves for rock/pop type songs as compared to ezd, eco?

Or is mainly for creating unusual drum sounds/rhythm?

I would recommend doing the Demo...

MDrummerSmall is free....give that a shot and see how it goes...

I've never used it so can't speak for it, but I've heard it sounds good.

Judging by the number of questions posted on the Meldaproduction support forum, MDrummer seems to be quite capable - but requires a significant investment of time and energy to struggle up its steep learning curve.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I have tried the demo twice for the drummer and just found it so unintuitive that I gave up. I think the one weakness of melda's products is the interface takes a bit to get used to. Documentation is not among my favorites either. Would love to hear from someone with a good handle on the drummer.
