I Hope This Forum Stays

Just my two cents but I am one who finds the Software forum to be extremely helpful. The products that we discuss here have direct bearing on my total Sonar experience. I have gotten great advice here. It is wicked nice to have everything in one place and not have to go to 27 different forums (none of which I find as helpful or as civil as the Sonar forums) to get plugin and software information.

Many of the absolute go-to plugins that I use I picked up on recommendations from folks here in the Software Forum. I hope it stays!

We'll not risk another frontal assault-that rabbit's dynamite!!!

I made the same point over there. I REALLY like not having to visit a bunch of different forums to get the information that I need on software. I used to follow multiple forums, but I have found that with the excellent advice that is given on this site, from people that I trust, I have no desire to hang out elsewhere. Which in my way of thinking, should be exactly what Cakewalk should want.

+1 I hope this section of the forum stays as is.

I had no idea what I didn't know about in this music universe and how the good stuff mentioned in this Software section can enhance the Sonar experience - until I started reading this forum.

The info from the discussions on the Software forum has been a huge help to my capabilities. The software and discussions have fueled my interest and continuous momentum.

This section of the forum has contributed greatly to my satisfaction with using Sonar.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

KVR deal forums are more cluttered and lack the direct pertinence to Cakewalk product and resultant targetted discussion.

+ another few.   For the most part I'm a SONAR X + Software + Songs forum guy, in that order.

Besides, I think Larry might implode if this forum were to disappear.

I'm with you guys.  I check this forum on a daily basis, and almost always find something helpful here.

What I find interesting is that people using other brands of software (i.e. IK, NI) who have problems come here looking for answers and usually get them.  That tells me the folks at this forum are on top of things.

I sort of hate it because I listen to everyone too much when they say "buy it" or "it's a good deal". I'm thinking two steps ahead and come here just to get that push over the cliff.

Yes, we need to start a "Save Larry" campaign!

We should have a vote "save Larry" or "feed Larry to the IK Sharks". Secret ballot, no dangling chads or other participles and no campaign contributions or bribes.
