Question about Amp Sims while Recording - SOLVED !!
It seems to me that I can recall, when I used to record in X1or X2 Producer, that I could hear my Amp Sim FX as I was recording. At some point, though, I can no longer hear the FX while recording, but works fine playing back. Now, I'm using X3 Producer, but I haven't solved this problem. I may have changed some setting along the way and can't figure out how to be able to hear these Amp Sims as I'm recording. Can someone help, please?

Make sure Track's Input Echo is switched on.

Checked it out, and it's NOT the Input Echo. Thanks jb

If you can record into the track, hear the track play through the sim during playback, the input is set correctly, and so is input echo, you should be able to hear the amp sim. The only other things I can think of are: - Misset input parameter in Sonar
- Misset parameter in your AudioBox where you're monitoring some aspect of a "zero latency" input instead of what's coming from the computer.

Hallelujah, Craig! You're the man. I looked at my AudioBox44 settings, and discovered that somehow the buffer was was set way high, at 2048. Changed it down to 256 and..... YEAH! I would never have thought of this, and at first I couldn't understand it, but after considering it a bit, I understand it now. Thanks Craig Buy the way, for any newer forum users, Craig Anderton is THE MAN when it comes to all this stuff. As for myself, I haven't been a forum participator ('til now), but have spent MANY hours on the forum here to learn about stuff, and I read everything I can written by Craig, here and elsewhere. Craig, I feel blessed to receive a response from you. Thanks man (I'm also an "age-challenged" individual)

Anonymungus! Craig, I feel blessed to receive a response from you. Thanks much but it's no big deal, I help when I can but so do countless others on this forum. Part of my motivation is to give back for what I've received from those who have answered my questions.
