Yes. Bootcamp. Plenty of threads in these forums.
Will probably never run on OS X. Again plenty of threads in these forums.
Sell by date at 9000 posts. Do not feed. @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38. Information about X4 has not been announced. That said, Cakewalk has repeatedly stated there are no plans to release a version of SONAR for the MAC. There is no reason to expect this to change any time soon, if ever. As Alex mentioned there are ways to run the Windows version on a MAC if you wish.

Install the Cheese first then Sonar will run on a Mac. It also works with Teenburgers which I prefer over a Mac any day.

Sonar will work under Bootcamp on a Mac every bit as good as a Windows machine, I've been running it for almost three years without issue.
BUT
To ensure good track count and speedy response I would highly suggest a multiple HDD setup.
In the case of my MacbookPro, I have swapped out the optical drive for a second hard drive which is used solely for reading and writing audio from/to current projects.
I openly admit, I'd much prefer Sonar to be cross platform, but as I've said, under Bootcamp it works very well indeed.
