How was it captured?  It makes a difference you know.

Traps are a no no.  They damage the fur.
Deep pits work, but an Am captured by a deep pit makes a totally unnatural noise.

Probably the best way would be net curtain trap, with becan as bait of course.  They likes their becan.

Though I still think the sound of an Am in the wild is way better than a captured one.

Bugle, that is a REAL whole  1930s era AV, without the fallboard and cover.

I actually have a 70s era 147 with original drivers and amp...

yes it is sweet, but stays in my rehearsal studio, hauling a Hammond and Leslie is a young mans game, plus i have an SK2 and a Stage 73 with a vent and MSPro 145 if I just have to have that.

Nice organ.

thanks Jan, it came from a local piano store back in the 90s. I have the bench and pedalboard.
All the electronics are Trek now, amp and percussion.
The vibrato switch is mounted on the modesty panel, but the chorus knob is in the regular place.

nice.  Yeah, I knew you gigged with a Nord, I didn't remember you had an SK2.  I looked at the SK2's (and SK1's) before I bought the XK3c but the polyphony on those put me off.  I've tried to play organ sounds on keyboards with low poly and it sounded more like mic'ing cat farts.

Is the Vent one of the originals or newer ones?  so far I'm liking the leslie sims on the XK3 just fine without adding something additional.

but the XK3c is also pretty heavy to carry around to a gig.  48 pounds!

Hmmm the SKs have 61 note polyphony, and you have 10 fingers...

its one of the original vents, but I added the true bypass

LOL!  yes, but the organ sounds use up more than 1 per note, more on some patches than others.

I tried playing a pipe organ sound on a 32 note poly keyboard and it was fine for 1 finger, but when you played a chord or (the horror) both hands, then it had a lot of dropped notes and really heavy distortion on the ones that did play.  that's why I was afraid of the 61 note poly.

if a local store had one that I could have played with then I would have considered it.
