Automation on folders?

I suspect I know the answer, but figured I'd ask the question since there are many hidden gems in Sonar.

In Sonar X2, can you apply envelopes or other automation to a folder? I think I want to group my drums into a folder, the mute sections using volume envelopes.

Send th drums in the folder to a bus and put the automation on the bus.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

This is what I do - just finished doing so a few minutes ago, for that matter, and saved off the drum folder and its tracks as a track template.  (which also bring along all of the buses that go with it, as well as the instance of Battery 3 and the kit and routing assignments and such - toms bus, cymbals bus, drums bus, etc.).

LOVE that set of features in Sonar.  :)

Forgot to mention - I also did a Quick Group on the sub-buses and drums bus, and set a custom color for those buses, which then automagically set the track color for the associated audio tracks that were routed to those drum buses to that same color as the drum buses).  That all went into the saved track template too.

I didn't know track colors saved in the track templates. ... Thanks!
