Good luck with the sale Jan..........at times, it can be a bit tough to sell things there. I've been trying to sell my whole UAD account for sometime now (which includes the Neve 88RS Channel Strip) for less than half price, but no luck yet. I'll keep an eye out for anyone looking for the Pro Q 2.

I had the Ordinary Pro-Q , earlier, sold it quick, this seems a bit harder to sell for $148 atm but i am sure i can sell it, it is not to expensive.
I got a offer for $100 , + some other vst i don't have a need for
Unless it's a neve 1073 emulation or similar, maybe also LA2A / 1176 comp's.
Thanks Mesh.

Why, for me that is a simple answer. The fabfilter Pro-Q 2 have an awesome GUI but for me it is to " digital / flat and lifeless " sounding EQ. there are some that like it, and some who don't I'm the latter one .. I downloaded the Demo of: waves scheps 73 neve emu the EQ brings some life and Mojo to the audio ( Lets call it Musicality / tone ) the con it is just 3 eq bands, maybe that could be good as well " Less is more " but the EQ 81 from IK multimedia got 4 bands.. Everyone has they'r preference / idea and taste of sound for me Pro-Q, " don't Do it " so to speak for other's it sound's what they expect it too, and what they want. i do not say the Fabfilter EQ is bad, its more a preference / taste of sound Jan

Yes i have tried the DMG audio EQ's, also hofa IQ EQ , Hofa EQ is similar to Voxengo GlissEQi think equality / Hofa EQ and GlissEQ, is a bit head of the Fabfilter EQ, but that's my opinion. Ill pass on those EQ's btw. i got an offer at $135 for the fabfilter one, i pm'd the guy who wanted it... he got a cheap EQ.....

That was quick!! Usually at KVR, buyers are always looking for things around 50% or less than the regular price......but, the Pro Q 2 is very new AND of course it's.......FAB. Well done on the sale!!

I happen to like Pro-Q. A lot. Another way to say "digital / lifeless" is "precise". It does exactly what you tell it to, no more, no less. Measure the output with VST Analyzer and the curve is an exact match to what's displayed in Pro-Q's UI. It's exactly the "digital and lifeless" precision that appeals to me. For years, it was the only equalizer I used. It's easy on the CPU so there's no problem throwing it onto every track if you want to. Its M/S capabilities and lack of coloration make it ideal for the master bus. The brilliant UI makes it easier to dial in than any other EQ I've tried. Now, it may sound as though I'm trying to talk you out of selling Pro-Q, but I'm not. EQs are very much a personal choice, like buying a pair of gloves: they'll all keep your hands warm; their primary function is not the primary selection criterion. Despite my affection for Pro-Q, it's no longer the only EQ I use. These days, my go-to equalizer is just as likely to be Meldaproduction's MDynamicEQ. Not quite as light on CPU, and not as pretty or ergonomic as Pro-Q, but the dynamic equalization takes it into realms Pro-Q can't play in. I'm telling you this because MDynamicEQ happens to be on sale right now for $43. There is no better deal going at the moment.
All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

Thanks, bit. I can't wait to try out my shiny-new MDynamicEQ. Does it side-chain with Sonar?

Yes, both VST2 and VST3 versions of MDynamicEQ can side-chain in SONAR.
