The Notorious Song Fragment Has Taken Another Turn

Lyrics
Kicked back hittin' that rhythm and blues
For just a moment or two, yeah a moment or two
Are you down to feeling the groove
Well it all falls down on you
I get a funny feelin' that
Maybe in the aftermath
All of these things come true

A little more empathy
A little more juice for me
Maybe my time is threw
With you...

Baby, baby can you give me a sign
Cause I got nothin' to lose but a lot to prove...hey
Come on over let me free your mind
Just a little bit of time for you...with a little bit of love for you
Give me that right away to you

Curious about any feedback you could provide. All criticisms are welcome.

http://www.mediafire..._Mix_105bpm.mp3 - this version is at 105BPM
http://www.mediafire...Early_Mix_5.mp3 - this version is the same song at 110BPM - seems to change the dynamics a buttload.

I really like the tune.  Nice changes, etc.  The vocal is well done for the most part.  It does need some production fixes.  I can't really tell you what to do there.  Just keep working.  it's coming together.  Oh, there was one "echo thing" on a BGV around the middle that didn't work for me.  That could just be personal preference.

I think I like the slower one better. I agree it's needs more production. IMO, there should be some sort of guitar riff to set it off. Not necessarily a lead but something like "Learning to fly" by Tom Petty. I'm just using that as an example as you would have to come up with something to fit your tune. I love your vocals. I don't like the drums. I would use a real kit of an emulation of one.

Well done! I hope to hear it finished as it's a really nice bit of tunage.

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

+1 to using a real kit vs. electronic drums, or maybe the electronic snare layered with a real kit (and real snare)...   The extra reverb on the BV was a also a little weird for me and didn't seem to blend with everything else.

But also a +1 to the song itself and the lead vocals, and I think the acoustic works nicely.   Definitely has a catchy vibe going on!

I like most everything about this song except that it's unfinished.  Can't wait to hear the final version.  Your voice is remarkable as usual.

Get it done - this is good stuff - nothing I don't like about this.

    Very cool.
