Timeline question

With X3, is it possible to implement for the timeline NOT to move when you left click in the track area?
And is it possible instead to have it move only when you click in the Measure Bar above track 1?
Thanks

I don't know the answer, but I'm curious why you want this behavior. Could you share more on that?

There are things like Markers that help you define a spot that you can always quickly return to. I don't normally move the Now Time when I don't mean to.

So, I thought better understanding your workflow might help me better advise.

I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I seem to be always accidentally shifting the now timeline when not meaning to. I've only recently upgraded from Sonar 5  and I think I must have had something similar implemented though I don't recall how I set it. Just a part of getting used to X3 and modifying behaviour probably but it would be useful to know if it can be done.

I'd help if I could. I don't know how.
