[Solved by THE CRAIG ] How to set end of project?
Got a project that is twice as long as the longest audio/midi clips. When I insert an envelope it shows the endpoint at 43 minutes. Longest clip is 21 minutes. I can find no hidden clips or tracks. Selecting all to bounce to tracks results in a 43 minute clip, half silent. Hit me with anything soft.

One of the tracks has an envelope node 43 minutes away that needs to be deleted I suspect. A case of hunt the thimble. I'd love it if we could actually specify the end of the project in Sonar which would override everything.

1. Select all.
2. Drag in the time line starting from the desired end of the project to past what's currently showing as the end.
3. Choose Edit > Cut Special
4. Check everything that can be checked and also check "Delete Hole."
5. Problem solved.

I would still be looking at a way to override and specify the end of the project rather than use time based selections as you have to keep selecting it every time.

jm24 I wonder if I touched THE CRAIG all would be revealed to me. The only thing I can think of was if it was winter, there was low humidity, you ran your shoes across the carpet, and then you touched me, you'd get a shock.

See that message about forum maintenance? Now, think about it a second...the forum is working perfectly fine. What is it they're REALLY maintaining?
RobertB is the only one who understood that the "end of project" code in jm24's message meant something. The plans have been set in motion, and nothing can stop them now. After the so-called "maintenance" is complete on Monday, all will be revealed. At least, to those who survive.
I thought the people in this forum were smarter. No one caught the coding in jm24's initial message. "43 minutes" - add 4+3, and you have 7 - the 7 sisters of the Pleiades (see the second paragraph in Post 11). "21 minutes" - 2+1 = 3 - 3rd stone from the Sun (earth).
It was all in plain sight, yet no one saw it. The most chilling part of jm24's message: "I can find no hidden clips or tracks" - we all know what that means. And he clearly states where the "endpoint" is - with the Pleidians.
It's too late, terrans. All that remains to be seen is whether the Pleidians or the Grays will be the new masters of earth.

The situation is obviously much worse than we realized...this is clearly a desperate plea for help. He says the aliens are killing him!! Found a handy solution guys. In Track View go to Options. There is an option there Stop At Project End. Just check the box. Done. Now your Media Payer , i tunes etc will stop when the music ends.

This only causes SONAR to stop after the last data in the project is encountered. This could be audio, MIDI data or an automation node. The sound in the project may stop long before the last bit of data in the project. This setting also prevents plug-in which generate audio or other data from playing unless there is something already in the project.
