How to store Piano Roll current layout?

Every time I double click on a clip to open the Piano Roll, I lose the dimensions that I had left the last time.
For example, the vertical and horizontal zoom, the space of the piano keys to see the names of the controllers, etc.
It would be possible to store this layout to be used the next time I open the Piano Roll?

It can be done as I have had it working a few times, but have no clue why it did. So I'll just stand by and see what the people who have actually read the manual say .. 'cuase I need this too...

I honestly do not know the answer here, but had a thought - if you got that sized the way you wished, would saving it in a screen set retain things the way you wanted?

I haven't played around with screen sets, so am just guessing here.

Hmm, screenset doesn't work for this...
Here my modified piano roll layout I want to keep:

Here what I get every time I call Piano Roll:

    So simple!
    Any ideas?

Hmm, now I discovered that if I call Piano Roll using Alt+3 instead of double-clicking on a clip, the vertical and horizontal zoom are preserved.
But both lose the distance of the horizontal size of the keyboard (to see the names of the controllers).
I think this is a bug in X3.

It's just the nature of the beast. That's how it is. I've never found a fix.
A feature request might be a good idea.

Yes, it would be nice to create a feature request, but...

Don't close the piano roll. Use "D" and SHIFT-D instead of closing the PRV.

I'll have to get used to using MultiDock, but apparently this is the best solution for now.
    Thanks scook!
