Piano Roll query

Using the keyboard on the left side of the Piano Roll View, you can select all of one note.  In other words, isolate only notes sounding Bb, in an entire composition.   I would like to see these notes alone in the controller pane, so the draw tool can rapidly sweep through, yet not effecting unselected notes.
If this is possible, how is it done?

Or...select the notes and move them to an empty track (pointed at the same Midi port and channel). Make your sweeps, then you can copy them back or leave them in the new track. If you leave them in the new track, don't forget to print it along with the main track when you record the audio, unless you want to effect those particular notes differently than the rest. There are no limits to how you approach this.

And if you're trying to change all the notes to the same value you can select them with the keyboard, as you're saying, then use the Event Inspector in the Control Bar to change Velocities, Durations, etc., all at once.
