New Lindell plugins

Hey folks,
 
You may know of Lindell Audio for their line of outboard hardware, including some moderately-priced 500-series units.  Now, they've teamed up with LSR Audio to introduce plugin versions of those 500s:  a preamp / filter, an 1176-style compressor, and a Pultec-type EQ. 
 
These are not cheapie plugins; they're currently priced at $99 each, or $249 for the bundle including a single channel-strip plugin containing all three.  Are they worth it?  Well ... only a demo can answer that for each customer, but I can say that the sound quality here is absolutely top-notch.  Each unit works very well, has a nice GUI, and acts like real hardware.  Anyone interested in high-quality analog-modeled plugins should investigate these, including those who are tired of waiting for Slate VMR. 
 
Pro Tools Expert just did a Show and Tell on these.  You can get an idea of the sound from that video.
 
Downsides?  Apart from being a little pricey, CPU usage is rather high, and I can't say that these are bug-free at this point.  But it's still worth trying them out on your system to see how well they work for you.  The demo versions do not expire, but briefly mute the output every so often, and cannot save settings.  Have fun!

    The Seven X Five Hundred is a mono/stereo channel compressor/limiter.
    It’s a FET (field effect transistor) design incorporating features such as “High Pass Sidechain Filter”, “Mix Knob” mix between dry and wet signal (parallel compression).

    - 6X-500 – Classic Analogue Microphone PreAmp and mini Pultec EQ -
    The Six X Five Hundred is a mono/stereo channel transformer coupled Preamplifier and Passive 2 Band Equalizer. The Preamp is an all discrete design based upon our hybrid amplifier.
    The Equalizer is our take on the magical classic Pultec design. It’s got 15dB boost of smooth silky high end and the most punchy low end you can get.
