happy b-day Bit. I'm in my 60's too...but won't tell you what number. I like spending my birthdays at home, playing with Sonar nowadays or something along those lines. I've had my 1st *inspection*...went easy. The hard part is drinking the *crap* to clean you out, beforehand. They typically put you under for the test and never feel a thing aftwards as well. I know your *inpection* will go well. Hopefully you'll get a cute nurse or similar, to help you with the final *cleansing*.

Happy birthday Bit! PS Sting might well live in a castle but he's also a smarmy git and contributes virtually nothing to the Sonar forum in the way of fascinating technical insights. He's from the same place as me (Newcastle) and apparently was inspired to play bass by listening to the playing of a friend of my father's in a venue called the Gosforth Hotel. That friend is still going strong and is a much better bass player than String ever was, but he missed out on the commercial success, probably because he doesn't sing like a girl and have Tantric sex.

The best is yet to come, Dave. Happy birthday my friend! Oh, 63 went by very fast for me some years ago. Has it been that long? I think 62 is the best age. 63 will do in a pinch.

A sincere thanks to everybody who wished me a happy birthday. I am pleased to report that it indeed was. No report yet on Gordon.
