Sonar6PE installation on Win7x64

Hello,
is it possible to install the both bit versions (x32 / x64) of my S6 (in the different folders programs / programs (x86)) in Windows?
In which of the folders it's recommendable to install all my vst plugins?
Suzi

yes, you can install both versions x32 & x64.

you can basically install VST plugins anywhere.  I would not recommend installing x64 plugins in the Windows x86 folder, tho.

personally I would probably just install them under the x64 default VST folder for x64 plugins and install the x32 plugins in the default VST for x32 (x86) folder.

Ditto- Upgrading from 6 is a good plan. It's soooo inexpensive if you go with the basic X3,
You can still have 6 installed and use any of it's plug ins that might now not be included.
Try the demo of X3, it's free for a whole month.

Not totally sure about Sonar 6, but I was using Sonar 7 on a Windows 7 platform for several months and it proved to be perfectly stable. However there were a couple of issues with the 64-bit version when I first installed it. These were eventually solved, cunningly, by downloading and installing a trial copy of a later version of Sonar, which apparently supplied some missing code or maybe overwrote something that was out of date.

I believe your issue involved the plug-in manager which was corrected by by installing the trial version. The trial version comes with a current version of plug-in manager (which does not time out). I am not sure this would be necessary ATM.

That was part of it. I think another issue was to do with BitBridge.
