When Recording, Latency Sounds Longer Than Reported by ASIO

I have my ASIO set for 64 samples for recording at 24/44.1.  According to the ASIO Hammerfall HDSP9652 interface I should be at a 3.7 msec round trip.  But the delay between the input signal and what I'm hearing sounds more like 80 to 100 msec, very disconcerting, and interfering with playing in sync with the recorded material.  All FX off.  The project wasn't always this way, just recently.  Any suggestions?

How are the plug-ins turned off? If it is not by the FX button in the mix module or shortcut "E" toggle the audio engine to force PDC recalc.

My bad.  I thought I'd toggled FX of with E but I had not. Toggled FX off and delay problem is gone (along with effects).  Thanks.

Plug-ins with lookahead will add to the latency. For example the TS-64 transient shaper and many dynamics plug-ins (e.g., Waves multiband dynamics) have fairly long lookaheads. It may be necessary to disable only one or two plug-ins to be able to use effects and retain low latency.

There have been posts in the past that listed which of the Sonar plugins were usual culprits in latency issues while tracking - I am in the middle of burning my 2nd attempt at ribs tonight, but if nobody else posts a link to one of those posts by the time the fire gets put out, I will circle back and try to find one of those lists.

The usual suspects bundled with SONAR are Boost11, LP-64 EQ, LP-64 MultiBand, Perfect Space and TS-64.
I think the problem was resolved with post #3.
