Crysonic [Beware]

$29 for their entire collection, don't bother. Even if their plugins are great, their distribution and licensing is an utter mess. I made the mistake of paying $29 for their VST junk collection today, my only consolation is that it was only $29.
Most of their VSTs are 32bit only, each has a different activation scheme, no installer for any of it (you have to manually copy the files), unknown at this point if they even work. You also have to download each update manually and figure out which one to install.
Out of their entire distribution, I've found 3 that I could actually install (64bit), so far none of them work.
Don't waste your time.

Be glad it was only a $29 lesson. A lesson that'll probably save you much more down the line.

Yep, we've been warning about them since the ice age. Plague and avoid spring to mind.

Anytime I see an advertisement or offer that practically 'shouts' - I get nervous. The better something is, the less it needs to be advertised - if it needs the equivalent of a carnival barker to move it along, it's probably not worth what it's being offered for.

You're thinking this software was the cause of that problem you experienced the other day?

Not sure Grem. I bought a new battery, reset the BIOS, ran the windows repair utility(it did find problems), uninstalled Waves and got rid of everything "Waves" in the registry. I reinstalled Waves, and now it shows the licenses, and Sonar's VST scan picks it up right away. I might take a chance and install them again. Maybe... The whole email system of registering them seems like a PITA. Thanks for your help buddy. I appreciate it.
